Ron D. Iamele

Raised in Los Angeles area of Southern California.  After attending high school and junior college, I began working for Western Airlines in the Stores Division of the Aircraft Maintenance Department at LAX.  In 1965, I was drafted into the United States Army and stationed in Saigon, Vietnam, with the 4th Transportation Group.  Returned safely in 1967 and finished tour of duty at Ft. MacArthur, San Pedro, California.  On returning from Vietnam, I married Becci Estes of Redondo Beach, California and we celebrated our 55th anniversary in 2022.  I continued with Western Airlines after my discharge and worked there until 1987.  During that time, I represented the Stores Division with the Teamsters Union negotiating contracts with Western Airlines.  During my time at Western Airlines, I was also involved in housing construction and purchased an alarm company in 1987 and changed the name to Premier Security Inc.   When not working, we took advantage of our travel benefits and saw much of the world.

We purchased our home in the Historic Tennis Club in 1991 and after commuting to spend our weekends here, we moved full time in 1996 and moved our company headquarters to Palm Springs.  We continue to operate our business but are looking forward to retiring in the near future.
