Kirk is a retired retail real estate executive. He spent nearly 25 years with General Growth Properties, starting as a college intern and was Vice President of Marketing when he left GGP in 2011. For the next nine years, he consulted in the industry before he and his husband, Tim Dordell, retired in 2020. They moved into the Historic Tennis Club neighborhood in 2018 and now spend their winters in Palm Springs and summers in Minnesota. Kirk and Tim are members of O’Donnell Golf Club and the Palm Springs Tennis Club. While in Palm Springs, they enjoy golfing, Pickleball, hiking, the great restaurants within walking distance, and entertaining family and friends from around the country.
