Drew Badger

I have been a homeowner in the area for over 7 years and currently own two homes in the historic tennis club neighborhood. I am a scientist working in the biotechnology field to develop novel treatments for inflammatory and immune-based diseases. Prior to serving on the HTCNO Board, I held several leadership positions both in small and large companies, as well as several non-profits. Perhaps most pertinent to my service on the HTCNO board member, I have presided over multiple non-profit organizations including the American College of Toxicology (scientific educational organization with ~1,000+ members), the American Board of Toxicology (organization that provides a credentialing exam for toxicologists), and other smaller regional / sub-specialty groups. In these roles, I have worked with colleagues across the industry to advance our field scientifically and to increase the breadth and depth of education particularly for early career professionals. My interest in serving on the HTCNO board is to partner with members of the community to ensure we maintain and cherish the unique elements of our historic neighborhood. I am also interested in understanding and working with the community to balance preservation concepts with opportunities to improve the neighborhood with appropriate initiatives.
