For the majority of my life, San Francisco and Lake Tahoe were home.  2005 brought a terrible winter and spring to Lake Tahoe, where we did not see the sky due to unrelenting cloud cover blanketing the basin.  Also, I had just sold my SF condo, was planning to retire and was thinking of checking out Indian Wells/Palm Desert and Scottsdale, Arizona…retirement areas that I had heard of from Incline Village friends.  Off I went, bike in the back of my SUV, my little dog Peanut for company.  My first stay was at the Korikia on Patencio. The next week was spent checking out the down valley towns. Each visit, I found that I could hardly wait to high-tail it back to this unique and special community.  Needless to say, I never made it to Scottsdale.  The Historic Tennis Club Neighborhood enticed me and the following year, I made Palm Springs my home.  Enjoying retirement, I have gotten involved in golf, and am a member of the O’Donnell Golf Club, and also am a member of the Palm Springs Tennis Club.

While living in Incline Village, Nevada, I enjoyed a successful career in real estate, volunteering for the Pet Network, skiing in the winter and boating and hiking in the summer.

Simultaneously living in San Francisco, I was on the board of the Child Abuse Prevention Society and found joy in volunteering at the family center on Waller Street in the Haight Ashbury neighborhood.

A divorced woman, after a fifteen-year marriage and helping raise three step-sons, I am now sharing my home with Peanut and his brother Carlitos.
