In accordance with Article X of the Historic Tennis Club Neighborhood Organization [HTCNO] By-Laws, the Annual Meeting and Election of Directors will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at the Palm Springs Woman’s Club located at: 314 South Cahuilla Road, Palm Springs. Only Members in Good Standing – those who have paid dues for the current fiscal year (calendar year 2017) may attend, participate, and vote. If you would like to attend and realize you have not paid your 2017 dues of $25, it is not too late to do so; Payment of dues will be accepted at registration by cash or check.
The registration desk will open at 5:00 p.m. From 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., enjoy our Social Hour to catch up with your fellow HTCNO Members while enjoying light appetizers accompanied by a selection of complementing wines. Also joining us will be specially invited Palm Springs Public Officials and Department Heads who are looking forward to meeting you. The business portion of the evening will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.
In accordance with Article IX, a three-member Nominating Committee selected by the Board of Directors shall propose a slate of candidates. There are two (2) Board vacancies this year. Information will be sent to you separately regarding candidate requirements, the nomination process, and contact information for submitting your expression of interest in serving the Historic Tennis Club Neighborhood as an HTCNO Director. The Nominating Committee will present a slate at the Annual Meeting; Nominations will also be accepted from the floor. Voting ballots will be available at registration and collected during the Annual Meeting after you have had a chance to hear from the candidates. While the ballots are counted, the meeting will continue with further agenda business/speakers.
We invite you to come and get involved with your organization and personally cast your vote for your organization’s leaders. Don’t miss this meeting because you forgot to pay your dues! Your dues are a tangible expression of your support for your neighborhood organization; your support helps us to keep and improve the livability and quality of life within our neighborhood for us all.
